MOTORBIKING was established in 1981 by Peter Hannifan who has been riding motorcycles since 1968. Pete was joined in 1989 by Guy Monk, also a keen motorcyclist, and to date we have sold over 20,000 new and nearly-new large capacity motorcycles.

Although we operate primarily in Dorset, Hampshire and Wiltshire, we have sold and delivered bikes to customers all over Great Britain - including  the Shetland Islands and  Scotland as well as Southern Ireland.

Many of our valued regular customers have bought more than eight or ten machines from us during that period, part exchanging, upgrading or changing their style of riding sometimes annually.

A brief chat with any motorcycle owner displaying our distinctive logo on the number plate of their bike should confirm our wide reputation as the area's leading dealer in mint used motorcycles.

MOTORBIKING stocks a wide range of nearly new and used motorcycles from the world's top manufacturers, including Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha, Triumph, Harley-Davidson, BMW, Moto Guzzi, Ducati, Aprilia, KTM and CCM.

       During 2009 the weak pound attracted many European trade buyers who have been paying full retail prices. This has created a shortage of popular models in the UK - particularly supersports bikes - and the situation is likely to continue during 2010 despite a slight strengthening of the pound against the Euro, so please don't hesitate if we have something you fancy - we would prefer to keep the stock in the UK!
